A big bag of food is an investment. And then your pet turns up its nose or gets an upset tummy. A sample tells you beforehand whether it tastes good and agrees with your pet. Here you find every free sample and taster pack we found directly on the brand websites, with a link to the order page.
The way to a favourite food has three stages. You do not have to take all of them, but in this order you save the most.
Order two or three free samples that suit your pet. Usually all it costs is your address.
To the free samples ↓Does one brand go down well? Then a taster pack with several recipes is worth it, often with a voucher for later.
To the taster packs ↓For your first big order you will find checked discount codes from our partners.
To the discount codes ↓These brands send their food for testing without you paying anything. Under each offer you can see what you hand over in return. If it only says delivery address, the sample really is easy. With a phone number or an advisor appointment you should know what you are agreeing to.

Even the best food can upset the tummy if it arrives overnight. So mix the sample into the usual food and increase the share over about a week.
Plan based on the guide by Royal Canin (source ↗). With diarrhoea, vomiting or dietetic food, talk to your vet.
Once a brand makes your shortlist, a taster pack is the next step. You get several recipes or a larger amount, usually much cheaper than buying separately. Many packs include a voucher for your next order. All brands here are our partners, so we earn a small commission, your price stays the same.

Has your pet found its food? Then save on your first big order. These partner codes are updated continuously, expired ones disappear by themselves. The coupon page shows all conditions.
Many forms ask for a newsletter or a call. Only tick what you really want. You can almost always unsubscribe later, but it is a hassle.
A sample for €0.50 plus €4.90 shipping is no longer a bargain. Order several recipes at once or go straight for a taster pack.
With allergies, kidney problems or dietetic food, talk to your vet before switching. A sample is no substitute for advice.
No free samples as of 27 Oct 2026: Royal Canin, Purina, Hill's (only via vets), Rinti, Real Nature, Bozita and Fressnapf. Wolfsblut, Belcando, Happy Dog and Wildes Land sell taster packs in their shops.
For most offers on this page the food itself costs nothing. Some brands do not say whether shipping is free, and a few ask you to pay postage. We note this on every offer.
Usually your delivery address. Some ask for an email address, a phone number or a short questionnaire. We list this as “what you give” for every free sample.
Check the chips under each offer. If you only see “delivery address”, the brand asks for nothing more on its order page. Always read the consent boxes before you send the form.
Two or three recipes one after another are easier to judge than five at once. Otherwise you will not know which food your pet does not tolerate.
Mix the new food in slowly over about a week, starting with a quarter. If your pet has a sensitive stomach or needs dietetic food, talk to your vet first.
A taster pack is worth it when you already know the brand suits you. Many packs include a voucher for your next order, so the first big bag is cheaper too.
We check every offer on the brand website itself. Each offer shows the date of the last check, and expired campaigns disappear from the page automatically.
Flicky is a rescue dog from Bulgaria and the face of Promo Codes for Pets. I checked every offer on this page on the brand website itself and tested discount codes in the cart. Last updated on 27 Oct 2026.
