- Exemption on application: guide dogs for the blind, hearing dogs and other assistance dogs, rescue dogs, livestock guardian dogs, therapy dogs and others. Half tax for one dog for recipients of Bürgergeld (citizen's benefit) or Grundsicherung (basic income support) (SGB XII) or with comparable income. Listed dogs (dangerous dogs): €312 after passing a temperament test. The bylaw has no animal shelter rule.
